COULD BE A BUMPY NIGHT
For more than a decade, writers workshopping at Hollywood’s Theatre West have competed to populate the company’s biannual playwriting festival. This time around, West scribes have churned out an eclectic crop of 10-minute things that go “Bump” -- a leitmotif that “runs the gamut,” says executive producer Laura James, who is also doing some of the directing. “Anything in life might be a bump. It could be psychological, physical or literal. It could be an opportunity.” Twelve plays will be performed in all, and though different lineups appear on different nights, the odds are good that audiences will be in for a night of fun, says James. 8 p.m. Fri- Sat., 2 p.m. Sun. $12.
