Re “Porn trial in L.A. is halted,” June 12

As an attorney, I can appreciate and understand a jurist’s desire to have a personal life and to make whatever entries he or she wants on a personal website (as long as there is no public access).

The more troubling issue for me, however, is why a respected and talented jurist, with an option to decline sitting on a case involving these matters, would elect to preside over it.
