Death of man, 52, being investigated

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department homicide detectives are investigating the death of a Rancho Cucamonga man Saturday night.
Steven Paul Lucero, 52, was at a home with family members on the 27000 block of Family Circle south of Perris, said Juan Zamora, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman.
Lucero grew belligerent and family members restrained him, Zamora said.
He reportedly stopped breathing. The family applied CPR and called paramedics.
Lucero was pronounced dead about 9:30 p.m. at Menifee Valley Medical Center in Sun City.
