Local eatery has too much success

Re: “Wine region still enjoys the upside of ‘Sideways,’ ” Sept. 3:
The movie has done wonders for the area with one downside for us.
One of our favorite restaurants is the Hitching Post. As it is with so many locals who went there often, we find it virtually impossible to get into the place on a spur-of-the-moment hankering for ribs and fries or a great steak.
It’s too bad, but they are doing just fine without us and we’re happy for our friend, Frank Ostini, and the crew at “the Post.”
