Former Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen, now an assistant with the New Orleans Saints, has put his home in Alamo on the market at $3.499 million.
The Traditional-style estate, with wide views of the surrounding foothills, is entered through a double-height foyer with a wrought iron staircase. Replete with wide-plank hardwood, marble and custom molding, the 5,336 square feet of living space has a living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.
A two-way fireplace sits between a center-island kitchen and a family room with custom built-ins. The master suite has his-and-hers walk-in closets, a fireplace and a large soaking tub.
Outdoors, landscaped grounds of slightly more than an acre contain a bocce ball court, a patio, a pool and a covered pavilion with a kitchen and fireplace. A sloping edge of the property features a small vineyard.
Allen, 42, was relieved from his position as head coach of the Raiders in September following an 0-4 start. Earlier this month, he agreed to return to the Saints, where he previously coached as a senior defensive assistant from 2006 through 2010.
The property last sold in June 2012 for $2.995 million, records show. Khrista Jarvis of J. Rockcliff Realtors is the listing agent.
