Tim Tebow has landed in Jacksonville after all – only it won’t be with the Jaguars next season. The former Florida Gators quarterback and 2007 Heisman Trophy winner recently paid $1.4 million in the Glen Kernan Golf & Country Club in Jacksonville, Fl.
The lakefront home, built in 2000, features extensive brickwork, hardwood flooring, an updated kitchen, a screened porch with outdoor kitchen, a sun room, five bedrooms and four full bathrooms in 6,525 square feet of living space.
A den/office with a fireplace, game room and a patio overlooking the water are among the features.
Tebow, 26, last appeared in an NFL game in 2012 while with the New York Jets. He was hired as a college football analyst for ESPN’s SEC Network in December.
The home originally came to market in February with an asking price of $1.5 million. The sale of the property, first reported by the Jacksonville Daily Record, closed on July 14, according to Duval County public records.
