Emmy chat: Join Tony Hale of ‘Veep’ for a chat Tuesday
- Share via
As long-suffering Gary Walsh in HBO’s political satire “Veep,” Tony Hale finally saw the tables turn in the comedy’s fourth season.
The season saw Gary, the eternally abused boy Friday to Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), finally stand his ground against his queen in a gasp-worthy confrontation — complete with cursing!

Hale, who earned an Emmy nomination in the supporting actor category for his portrayal of the resilient and devoted assistant, will be stopping by The Times studio Tuesday at 11 a.m. (PDT) to talk about the pivot his character took and how the rather twisted Selina-Gary relationship has changed.
Should you want to get in on what is sure to be a fun and lively chat (when does Hale disappoint?), leave your questions in the comments below or tweet them to #askLATimes.
