Do No Harm Jason (Steven Pasquale) receives an anonymous text message threatening to reveal his secret and tries to track down the sender. He learns there’s a fine line between an enemy and an ally. Olivia’s (Ruta Gedmintas) flight from Ian (Jason Cole) brings her and Cole (Brendan McHale) to a place filled with memories in this new episode. 10 p.m. NBC

Rise of the Planet of the Apes An effective prequel that sets up the series, this 2011 science fiction thriller casts James Franco as a scientist seeking a cure for his Alzheimer’s-afflicted father (John Lithgow). He tests a possible solution on chimps, not realizing he’s setting the stage for a simian uprising that eventually brings San Francisco to a standstill.
