Hot Property: ‘3rd Rock’ alien sells Earth home

Update: Actor French Stewart and his wife, actress and interior designer Katherine LaNasa, have sold their renovated and expanded Hollywood Hills-area home for $3,637,000, the Multiple Listing Service shows.
The 1936 traditional two-story house has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. It sits behind tall hedges on about a third of an acre with mature trees and a swimming pool. LaNasa, who runs and owns Casa LaNasa, did the remodel and interior design.
Stewart, 46, costarred in “3rd Rock From the Sun” (1996-2001) as alien Harry Solomon. He has appeared on TV shows including “The Closer” (2007) and in movies, among them “Inspector Gadget 2” (2003) and “Home Alone 4” (2002).
LaNasa, 43, has appeared on TV series including “House” (2009), “Cold Case” (2009), “Ghost Whisperer” (2008) and “Judging Amy” (2003-05).
The property had been purchased in 2000 for $1,919,000. It came on the market at $4,195,000 in November.
Juliette Hohnen, Tom Davila and Kennon Earl of Rare Properties, Keller Williams Realty, Beverly Hills, had the listing. David Haffenreffer of Sotheby’s International Realty, Beverly Hills, represented the buyer, according to the MLS.
