Granada Hills, led by Angela Villela’s five-over-par 77, won its fourth consecutive team title and sophomore Paula Kerdpinyo defended her individual title by shooting even-par 72 at Balboa Golf Course in Encino. Venice finished second to earn the other qualifying spot in the CIF-WSCGA tournament on Nov. 15 at the SCGA Golf Course in Murrieta. Tori Leon of Franklin was the individual runner-up with a 76. Villela and Darlene Bognot of Monroe were the only other golfers to break 80. Bognot had a 79.
