Northern California utility workers find body of man hanging from tree

Utility workers in Northern California on Thursday found the body of a man hanging from a tree, authorities said.
The body was discovered about 11 a.m. in a grove of trees near the Thorne Road exit of Highway 101 in Greenfield, said Monterey County Sheriff’s Sgt. Mark Sievers.
It appeared as though the man had been dead for weeks, Sievers said.
The body has not been identified and the coroner hasn’t determined the cause of death.
