Immobile home? Prefabricated house tumbles onto freeway in Pacoima
- Share via
A mobile home has become immobile in possibly the worst place it could in Los Angeles — a freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, shortly before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, a pre-fabricated home being hauled west on the 210 Freeway rolled over and blocked three lanes at the connector with the 118 Freeway in Pacoima.
The home is 14 feet wide, 60 feet long and 16 feet tall and has a bent underside frame, according to CHP logs. Officials think it may have been blown over as there was a wind advisory in the area at the time it spilled onto the lanes.
The mishap has blocked three westbound lanes until at least 4 p.m., the CHP said. There were no reported injuries or other vehicles involved.
