Picture-in-picture at Venice Beach

Joe Hoak took this photograph two weeks ago in Venice Beach. The idea, he says, came from a few different photographers within the Instagram community, as well as various postings from the Internet.
The mobile device taking the picture of the palm trees is Hoak’s iPhone. He then used his Canon 5D Mk II and 40mm lens for the wide shot.
