building reunion and BBQ from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 4 at the museum

SAILING CLASSES
Orange Coast College is offering new credit and noncredit sailing
classes this summer. Most classes are five weeks in length, and boats
range from Lido 14 dinghies to large ocean racers, even keelboats.

Orange Coast College is offering a six-week advanced marine
weather class. The class is not for transfer credit. It will meet
from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday evenings, Oct. 16 through Nov. 20. Students
will be taught forecasting techniques and the use of upper level

Sailing Fascination offers classes in boating safety and sailing

Orange County employers can bring their employees out to Newport
Beach on weekdays to enjoy a day of sailing courtesy of Orange Coast
College. The School of Sailing and Seamanship now offers a chance for
groups to work with the on-board instructor on different sailing
techniques while they get advice on how to perform well in business.

Basic Cruising II classes for sailors seeking a Basic Cruising
Certification will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on three Saturdays,
Oct. 4, 11 and 18. The class will be held at the Orange Coast College
