Faith Lutheran Church will hold a Fun Family Halloween Festival
from 5 to 8 p.m. at 8200 Ellis Ave. There will be food, games, a moon

Inventors Forum, the Huntington Beach-based nonprofit inventors’

first 18-hole basket disc courses in Central Park, across the
street from the Huntington Beach Public Library and Cultural Center.
Two-round tournaments are held the first Saturday of each month.

Ralph E. Hawes Elementary School, at 9682 Yellowstone Drive,
invites students, friends and neighbors to its 2003 Country Fair from

fund-raiser of the year, will include game booths and attractions
like face painting, a baseball toss, goldfish catch, arts and crafts

The women of Community
United Methodist Church will present Gifts of our Hands, a holiday
boutique, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items will include handmade quilted
pieces, a church cookbook featuring family-tested recipes, button
novelties, holiday decorations, handmade jewelry, antiques, baked
goods, nuts, canned jams and jellies. The church, at 6652 Heil Ave.,
will also offer a Santa’s Secret Shop where children can buy or make

The Women of Action will have a bingo game in celebration of
Halloween at 11 a.m. at the Women’s Club in Huntington Beach, 420

CIVIC GROUPS
The Huntington Beach
Chapter of the National Assn. of the Physically Handicapped
provides help to disabled children/adults and help their lives to
become more vital to the community through providing informative
newsletters four times a year from National Headquarters. It meets on
the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Wycliffe Gardens

Pete’s authentic ‘Dance
for the Waves” Luau includes a lei and shell greeting, Polynesian
buffet open bar, official tiki torch lighting ceremony, hula lessons,
prizes and raffles, Hawaiian shirt contest, music of old Hawaii and a
Polynesian dance show. The luau is at Pete Mallory’s Surf City Sunset
Grille at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa every

The Clara Barton chapter
of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will
