JSerra, expected to be one of the top baseball teams in the Southland this season, will be without junior pitcher Jack Owen, who has decided not to play for the Lions, Coach Brett Kay said.
Owen, a Mississippi State commit, is still at school but needed to get a job, Kay said. It is believed he’s still playing travel baseball.
Without Owen, sidearmer Collin Quinn is expected to become JSerra’s No. 1 pitcher.
