Baseball: Nolan Martinez vs. Sean Reynolds on Friday should have pro scouts feeling excited

It’s going to be quite a pitching matchup on Friday for the Southern Section Division 3 quarterfinal playoff game between host Redondo, the Bay League champion, and Culver City, the Ocean League champion.

Ace Sean Reynolds will pitch for Redondo. Ace Nolan Martinez will pitch for Culver City. Both are considered pro prospects. Martinez go could as high as the second round next month.

Redondo is the No. 1 seed, but Culver City has a group of seniors that have been playing together for years. It’s going to be an intriguing matchup for both teams.
