Boys’ basketball: Santa Margarita to honor Klay Thompson on Friday

Golden State Warriors All-Star guard Klay Thompson is returning to his alma mater, Santa Margarita, on Friday.
Thompson, a 2008 Santa Margarita graduate, will have his jersey number retired during a school assembly.
Thompson was a standout guard for the Eagles before moving on to Washington State and becoming a first-round NBA draft pick.
