Garfield has put together a challenging nonleague football schedule for the 2016 season.
The Bulldogs are playing Alemany in a zero week game, followed by matchups against Banning, Harvard-Westlake, Crenshaw and Servite.
Coach Lorenzo Hernandez believes having his players take on top competition will prepare them for the City Section regular season and playoffs.
