Football: ‘Gridiron Heroes’ documentary to be shown in Hollywood

A documentary, “Gridiron Heroes: The Hill Chris Climbed,” is set to be the closing night film at the HollyShorts Film Festival on Aug. 22 at 10 p.m. at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
It is a film about brain and spinal cord injuries sustained on the football field, with Taylor Kitsch from Friday Night Lights the film narrator.
It is the story of Chris Canales, a former Texas high school player who was paralyzed after an injury on the field.
