Former Windward standout Imani McGee-Stafford turns to poetry

Former Windward girls’ basketball standout Imani McGee-Stafford will be featured on Sunday on ESPN’s SportsCenter telling the story of her turning to poetry.
She’s a center at Texas.
“I always say poetry is air because I think it’s something I can’t live without,” she said. “I credit poetry with saving my life.”
The first airing is set for 7 a.m. on Sunday.
