Track: Southern Section prelims set for Saturday

It’s time for track and field athletes to start reaching peak form.
The Southern Section prelims are set for Saturday around Southern California, with the championships set for next Saturday at Cerritos College.
Each prelim will begin at 11 a.m. with field events and noon with running events.
Division 1 is at Trabuco Hills. Division 2 is at Moorpark. Division 3 is at Estancia. Division 4 is at Carpinteria.
The City Section prelims will be held Thursday at Birmingham, followed by the finals on May 26 at Birmingham.
