Ducks tonight
VS. PHOENIX
When: 5.
Where: Honda Center.
On the air: TV: FS West; Radio: 830.
Records: Ducks 35-23-11, Coyotes 37-26-5.
Record vs. Coyotes: 3-2-0.
Update: With a win against Phoenix, the Ducks would have 81 points and be right in the thick of the race for a playoff berth in the bunched-up West. The Ducks have won five of their last six games and will be trying for their third win in a row. Corey Perry (34 goals, 39 assists overall) has three goals and two assists over his last two games and will try to keep the point streak going. Forward Jason Blake remains day to day (hand laceration). The Coyotes already have 81 points but are 2-4-2 over their last eight games. One bright spot for them has been goaltender (and former Duck) Ilya Bryzgalov, who stopped all 39 shots he faced for his sixth shutout of the season as the Coyotes beat Calgary, 3-0, Thursday night.
