Jameis Winston back down to college weight at NFL scouting combine

Jameis Winston is back to his listed weight from his days at Florida State.
After reportedly tipping the scales at a whopping 248 pounds last month, the former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback weighed in at 231 pounds for the NFL scouting combine, Pro Football Talk reports.
The Florida State football site lists the star quarterback’s playing weight with the Seminoles at 230 pounds.
This news should ease the minds of fans of the several NFL teams looking for a franchise quarterback in the draft this spring, particularly after a rather unflattering photo from last month of a shirtless Winston made the rounds on the Internet this week.
The other big-name quarterback in the draft, Oregon’s Marcus Mariota, weighed in at 222 pounds at the combine. He and Winston were measured at 6 feet, 3 3/4 inches.
Both QBs are expected to throw at the combine.
