Fred Ulu-Perry Jr., a center from Honolulu St. Louis High, has signed a letter of intent with UCLA.
The 6-foot-1, 295-pounder was one of the elite high school centers in the nation this last season. He was ranked No. 1 by Scout.com and No. 5 by Rivals.com. ESPN ranks him 69th among its 300 top high school players.
Ulu-Perry could be the successor to UCLA center Jake Brendel. Ulu-Perry can also play guard.
