USC recruiting: Tight end Tyler Petite signs with Trojans

USC has received a letter of intent from Tyler Petite, the school announced.
Player: Tyler Petite
Position: Tight end
Height: 6 feet 5
Weight: 225
High School: Moraga Campolindo
Verbally committed: Dec. 12, 2014
Schools considered: Duke
Notes: Under Armour All-American … Petite committed to Duke over USC in July before he changed his commitment.
Petite on choosing USC:
“I chose USC because of the great football family and the atmosphere. The coaches are awesome and the players are awesome. Also, from an education standpoint, there is nothing like USC and how powerful a degree from USC is.”
Petite on signing a letter of intent:
“It feels great. I’m glad that it’s finally over and I can officially be a Trojan. It’s all becoming a reality now and I can’t wait to get going.”
