USC recruiting: Running back Ronald Jones signs with Trojans

USC has received a letter of intent from Ronald Jones, the school announced.

Weight: 185

High School: McKinney North, Texas

Verbally committed: Jan. 2, 2015

Schools considered: Notre Dame and Oklahoma State

Notes: Under Armour All-American ... Jones was once committed to Oklahoma State.

Jones, during his televised announcement, on why he chose USC:

“I really believe in Coach Sark’s [Steve Sarkisian’s] vision for the team, not only for myself, and also Coach [Clay] Helton and Coach [Johnny] Nansen -- that we are going to get this national championship.”
