Many of the world’s top bodybuilders will be strutting their stuff Sept. 27 and 28 during one of the world’s biggest fitness contents.
Both men and women will be flexing bulging biceps, thunderous thighs and other body parts at Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness and Performance Expo, to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Orleans Arena.
Before the start of the competition Friday, fans are invited to a free meet-and-greet event at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26. It will be held on the Concourse Level of the Orleans Arena.
On Friday and Saturday, the action shifts to the Convention Center, where contestants will square off in a variety of preliminary rounds. The varied categories include karate, kickboxing and powerlifting.
The finals are 7 p.m. Saturday in the Orleans Arena. The reigning champion, Phil Heath, will be defending his title.
The bodybuilders will be seeking a share of $1 million in cash prizes.
General admission passes for the Convention Center events are $25 per day. Tickets for the Saturday night finale are available online or by calling (702) 284-7777. They range in price from $75 to $211.
