From the Archives: Celebrating Barbra Streisand’s Oscar win

The previous night, actress Barbra Streisand received an Oscar for her leading role as Fanny Brice in the movie “Funny Girl.” In a rare tie, Streisand shared the award with actress Katharine Hepburn for her role as Eleanor of Aquitaine in “The Lion in Winter.”
The musical “On a Clear Day You Can See Forever” was released in 1970.
