Kerr Glass Manufacturing Co., Los Angeles, boosted the size of its board to seven members with the election of Gordon C. Hurlbert, president and chief executive of GCH Management Services Inc., and Michael C. Jackson, a managing director of Shearson Lehman Bros. Inc. Richard J. Pearson, president and chief operating officer of Avery International Inc., resigned from the board.
