Quotron bought a securities software firm.

The Los Angeles-based provider of electronic financial information said it acquired Securities Industry Software Corp., a privately held firm based in Evergreen, Colo., that provides order management, brokerage accounting, trading and securities movement and control. Price and terms were not disclosed. Quotron Systems said the deal had no relation to Citicorp’s pending $680-million tender offer for Quotron.
