SFE Technologies agreed to sell three plants.

The San Fernando electronics firm signed a letter of intent to sell its factories in New Orleans, Tucson and West Germany for $25 million in cash to Spectrum Control, an Erie, Pa., electronics firm. The plants account for about 20% of SFE’s manufacturing capacity. The company has lost money for six straight quarters and has said it is in technical default to its lenders.
