Eight people have been elected to partnerships in the Los Angeles operations of Arthur Young, the international accounting and consulting firm. They are Loretta W. Dash, John T. Wells, Terence L. Young, and Tatsuya Ochiai, Los Angeles office; and Deanne Handron, Steven Laskey, Abdul S. Lakhani and Steven J. Banks, Woodland Hills office.
Joseph H. Safier and Frank Kobayashi, both based in Los Angeles, were promoted to director.
Promoted to the position of principal in the firm were Gary R. Birkenbeuel, Peggy Brooker, Steven N. Broudy, John R. Clark, Mindy J. Kaplan, Gary A. Maxwell, Alan E. Pemberton, Mark B. Smith and Trung Q. To, all of the Los Angeles office; and William D. Griffin, Woodland Hills office.
