Wilderness Experience announced the election of two members of its board of directors and a cost-saving relocation of its headquarters.
In May, the troubled Chatsworth maker of camping gear filed for protection from creditors under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. It was the second such filing in two years.
Wilderness Experience said the new directors are Yehuda Matalon, a sportswear company executive, and Janice Ryan, the company’s chief accountant. Meanwhile, the company said relocation of its factory and corporate offices elsewhere in Chatsworth will save $11,000 a month.
