FileNet Corp. of Costa Mesa reported that net income remained flat for the second quarter, while revenue hit a record $20.4 million. Net income for both the second quarters of 1989 and 1988 was $1.6 million. Revenue rose 23% from the $16.6 million posted for the year-earlier period. Net income for the six-month period declined 33%, to $2 million from $3 million for the first half of 1988. Revenue increased 18%, to $37.9 million from $32.1 million. FileNet manufactures image- and data-processing systems.
