Gottschalks Plans Riverside Store: Gottschalks Inc. said it would open its 24th, and largest, store in 1992 in Riverside. The 150,000-square-foot store will be the Fresno-based retailer’s second store in the greater Los Angeles area. Gottschalks’ 120,000-square-foot store in Palmdale is under construction and is scheduled to open in September.
