NTC Goes the Distance: National Telephone & Communications Inc., a Newport Beach-based provider of “flat rate” long-distance telephone service, said it has signed an agreement with GSI Communications Inc. of El Segundo that will allow NTC to market its service nationwide starting in July. GSI, a discount purchaser of U.S. Sprint long-distance services, and NTC market their services primarily to businesses. NTC previously has offered its service only in California.
