Woman Who Fought Cosmetics Policy Resigns: Teresa Fischette, who won a battle with Continental Airlines over the carrier’s cosmetics policy, has resigned from her job. Fischette, a ticket agent at Boston’s Logan International Airport, was fired in May for refusing to wear makeup on the job. She was rehired less than a week later after she vowed to fight the mandatory cosmetics policy. Fischette, 38, said she wasn’t forced to leave the company, but admitted there were “problems” after she made her cause public, according to a story in the Boston Globe.
