Michael Luecke has been appointed vice president of licensing and business development for SPI Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Costa Mesa. Before joining SPI, he was president of Verigen Inc. from 1989 to 1991, and of Clonetics Corp. from 1987 to 1989. Luecke also held positions with Bristol-Myers, Sterling Drug, SmithKline and Ciba-Geigy.
