Distribution Pact: I-Flow Corp. of Irvine said Wednesday that it has entered into a three-year exclusive distribution agreement with SoloPak Pharmaceuticals Inc. and hopes its revenue from the sale of SoloPak products will help it pull out of its long-running financial slump.
The contract with the Elk Grove, Ill.-based medical device firm is valued at $16.9 million. “It should contribute to improving our bottom line,” said James Dal Porto, I-Flow’s chief operating officer. The Irvine maker of portable intravenous pumps has reported a string of losing quarters since its founding in 1985.
Most recently, the company reported a quarterly net loss of $346,000, or 4 cents a share, on revenue of $2.1 million.
