IRIS Reports Record Earnings for the Year

International Remote Imaging Systems Inc. (IRIS), a Chatsworth manufacturer of hospital urinalysis equipment, reported record earnings of $1.47 million for the fiscal year that ended Dec. 31, an increase of 15% over the previous year’s net income of $1.28 million.
The improved 1994 earnings came on record sales of $10.94 million compared to sales of $9.62 million during 1993.
The company said its fourth quarter earnings of $580,407 and sales of $3.4 million were also its highest ever. During the comparable three-month period of 1993, IRIS reported net income of $418,349 and revenues of $2.7 million.
