EnvirAlert, a subsidiary of Irvine-based Watson General Corp., has agreed to install a fuel-tracking software system into the corporate headquarters and regional offices of Sheetz Inc. in Altoona, Pa. The software, called TankControl, is designed to monitor fuel levels in the underground tanks that feed retail gas pumps at Sheetz’s 173 convenience stores in four states. The software will also collect data to satisfy underground tank safety standards and environmental-compliance reporting. As part of the agreement, four fleet distribution companies that service Sheetz operations--Convenience Leasing Inc., McCullogh Oil, Molnar Hauling and Sadler Transport--also will install Watson software.
