WASHINGTON — A federal judge ordered U.S. marshals to locate Democratic Party fund-raiser John Huang after a conservative group charged that Huang was ducking the court’s order to be questioned in a civil suit.
Judicial Watch Inc. wants to question Huang, an ex-Commerce Department official, to determine whether the agency used government-sponsored trade missions to raise funds for the Democrats.
Huang worked at the Democratic National Committee after leaving the Commerce Department in January. He has not made public appearances since reports surfaced about contributions to the DNC from Indonesian interests.
