Data Processing Resources Corp.: The Newport Beach provider of information technology staffing services said net income for the first fiscal quarter climbed 66% to $1.2 million, or 16 cents a share, from $753,000, or 15 cents a share, for the comparable quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter ended Oct. 31 rose 44% to $20.1 million from $14 million. The results include Applications Design & Development, which was acquired in July.
