STM Gets Contract

IRVINE — STM Wireless Inc. said Tuesday it has received a $30-million contract from Samart Corp. PCL to supply satellite networking equipment for a rural communications project in Southeast Asia.
STM said the value of the contract could rise to more than $40 million depending on future network expansion. Samart Corp., based in Thailand, provides satellite communications services. STM Wireless manufactures wireless communications products.
