IRVINE — Sync Research Inc. said Monday it expects to lose between $3.7 million and $4.5 million for its third quarter ending Sept. 30 as revenue will fall short of expectations.
Sync estimated its third-quarter revenue at $5.7 million to $6.3 million, though it said it expects to finish the quarter with an improved backlog of orders.
Sync said it will take actions to maintain its balance sheet, including cutting costs. The company said the expenses associated with the plans are included in third-quarter loss projections.
