TechLite Agrees to Buy Sun & Sun Industries

TechLite Inc., a Tulsa provider of lighting systems for education and commercial sectors, said Tuesday it has agreed to acquire lighting contractor Sun & Sun Industries of Huntington Beach for an undisclosed amount of cash and stock.
Sun & Sun, doing business as Sun Industries, has primarily serviced energy services companies and power utility markets throughout the 11 Western and Mountain states.
Founded in 1992 by Lynda Sun, the company has expanded its core construction business to include design and maintenance of energy-efficient lighting and lighting controls systems for, among others, schools, universities, hospitals, municipal institutions and federal facilities.
