Deregulation Over Time
For those deriding the concept of deregulation and its good for the consumer, simply remember what you paid for a long-distance phone call from Los Angeles to New York 20 years ago and what you pay now. Or what you paid for a plane ticket from Los Angeles to New York 20 years ago and what you pay now.
Complete and thorough deregulation (not the California electricity re-regulation experiment) has always worked for the benefit of working Americans over the long run.
