Maytag Leases Space at Mira Loma Center

Home appliance manufacturer Maytag Corp. has signed a five-year lease valued in the range of $7 million for 455,000 square feet at the Mira Loma Space Center.
The build-to-suit project is at Hopkins Street and Etiwanda Avenue. Walt Chenoweth, Frank Geraci and Dan De La Paz of CB Richard Ellis represented Maytag. The landlord, Minneapolis-based Space Center, was represented by Jay Dick.
The same CB Richard Ellis brokers, along with Tom West, also arranged a 449,000-square-foot lease of manufacturing and distribution space for Steelcase Inc. at 228 Mayo Ave. in City of Industry. The lease with landlord Majestic Realty Co. is valued in the range of $17 million.
